Participate in the great Bori Boot Festival: Every tribe of Arunachal Pradesh celebrates number of festivals. They are generally - agricultural, religious & socio cultural, which give them plentiful opportunity to enjoy and entertain freely. Among all the festivals of the State, the Bori Boot Festival is one of the major traditional festivals which are exclusively celebrated by the Hill-Miris tribe.

Orissa has the largest variety of tribal communities, which are at various stages of socio-economic development. The newly formed Indian state of Chhattisgarh is endowed with a unique and rich cultural heritage and the region is full of lush green virgin forests, scenic hills and plateaus intersected by meandering rivers, ancient caves and temples and the last but not least for its rich tribal population.

Art, ancient civilizations and wildlife thrive in this northwestern coastal state. The state has many ancient tribes like the Bhils and Rabaris that still live a nomadic life with their weekly haats or markets that are colorful social events where the tribes come in their finest to barter milk and butter and other home made produce.

Possibly the most romantic state in India, Rajasthan, famous for its striking desert landscape and colorful festivals, is steeped in tales of chivalry, honor, warriors and royalty. Participate in Hornbill Festival in Kohima, the Festival is named after the hornbill, the globally respected bird and which is displayed in folklore in most of the state’s tribes. All the tribes of Nagaland take part in this festival. The aim of the festival is to revive and protect the rich culture of Nagaland and display its extravaganza and traditions.
