ITINERARY & PRICES

Day 1 Tokyo - Mt Fuji - Hakone - Kyoto
8:15-8:25am - Please be at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure (by 8:15am). Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo's Main Tower in Shinjuku. Meet at 8:15, Dep. at 8:25.

(GINZA SIX) A stop may be made for pick-up. The tour may stop by at GINZA SIX to pick up customers.

30(min) Mt. Fuji 5th Station. The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.

50(min) Lunch - Enjoy Japanese-style cuisine.

15(min) - Lake Ashi Cruise. At Lake Ashi in Hakone, customers can ride a cruise ship. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji. *The tour may be guided to an alternative destination if the Lake Ashi cruise operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc.

50(min) - Hakone Komagatake Ropeway. Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi spread out below. *The tour may be guided to an alternative destination if the Komagatake Ropeway operation is suspended, or depending on road conditions, congestion, etc.

Hakone-en - Odawara Station5:30 -6:30pm. isembarking only. (The bus may not stop by if there are no prior requests made.)

6:30 -8:30pm Shinjuku. This tour ends upon arrival near Shinjuku Station West Exit. *Please head to your next destination on your own from Shinjuku. The National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter will inform customers how to return afterwards.

Travel to Hotel (unguided). Please make your own way from Shinjuku to the hotel accommodation.

7:00-9:00pm - Arrival & Check-in at Hotel in Tokyo

Day 2 Tokyo - Kanazawa
9:10 - 9:20am Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo Main Tower 3F. Departure. Please be at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure.
(Meet at 9:10, Dep. at 9:20)

30(min) Imperial Palace - (Nijubashi Bridge). Visit this place, the center of development of EdoTokyo, which was once the Edo Castle in the early modern period and has since become the Imperial Palace.

50(min) - Tsukiji. Tsukiji, an area known as "Tokyo's Kitchen" for many years. Even after the market relocated, the Outer Market remains bustling with its many shops offering food and food-related items. Walk along the alleys throughout the Outer Market and enjoy shopping for goods and tasting local food.

60(min) - Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street. Senso-ji, Tokyo's oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as "Nakamise" stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops.

1:30pm - Asakusa. After sightseeing at Asakusa, the English-speaking tour conductor will accompany customers to Ueno Station.

2:00-3:00pm - Arrive at Ueno Station. Free time from arrival at Ueno Station until departure (customers are free to have lunch)

2:30 -3:30pm - From Ueno Station to Kanazawa Station. Head to Kanazawa Station via Shinkansen. *There is no accompanying National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter or assistant while on board the Shinkansen.

4:15-6:20pm - Arrive at Kanazawa Station. On foot travel to hotel (unguided).

4:30-6:30pm - Arrival & Check-in at Hotel in Kanazawa City. Please check in at the hotel. Stay at Hotel in Kanazawa City

Day 3 Kanazawa -
8:30-9:00am - Depart from Hotel in Kanazawa City. Pick-up Service. There is a pick-up service from the hotel accommodation in Kanazawa.

40(min) - Nomura Residence, Nagamachi Samurai District. Visit a former residence of a samurai family from the Kaga Domain. Admire the traditional architecture and gaze at the beautiful Japanese garden.

60(min) - Kenrokuen Garden. This beautiful garden is considered one of the top three Japanese gardens. It offers amazing seasonal views all year round.

40(min) - Higashi Chaya-gai Wooden-latticed exteriors of teahouses line both sides of the stone-paved street here where something from the Edo period (1603-1868) still lingers in the air. This area is an Important Traditional Building Preservation District.

30(min) Hakuza Honten. Feel free to purchase handicrafts, accessories, cosmetics, and other items made with gold leaf. *It is also possible to disembark at Hakuza Honten without going to Kanazawa Station.

12:40 -2:00pm - Kanazawa Station Free time from arrival at Kanazawa Station. Stay at Hotel in Kanazawa City.

Day 4 Kanazawa - Kyoto
Check-out & Departure from Hotel in Kanazawa City. Travel to Kanazawa Station (unguided).

10:50 -11:30am 135(min) - From Kanazawa Station to Kyoto Station. Take the JR limited express train to Kyoto Station. *There will be no accompanying National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter or assistant on the train.

1:10 -1:40pm Drop-off Service. An English-speaking assistant will meet customers at Kyoto Station. A drop-off service by taxi to the hotel in Kyoto City is available. *Please note that there will be no accompanying assistant on the way to the hotel.

Arrival & Check-in at Hotel in Kyoto. Check in at the hotel, Free time *After arriving at the hotel, customers may have to wait until check-in. Stay at Hotel in Kyoto City.

Day 5 Kyoto
7:50-8:30am - Pick-up Service. There is a taxi drop-off service from the hotel in Kyoto to the tour departure location.

8:30am- Avanti's Sunrise Tours Desk (across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit) - Depart

50(min) Nijo Castle - A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for the Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see.

45(min) Kinkaku-ji Temple - A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.

40(min) - Kyoto Imperial Palace. See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago.

40(min) - [Kyoto Imperial Palace Closed Days] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. Kitano Tenmangu Shrine is the substitute for Kyoto Imperial Palace on days it is closed to visitors. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.

60(min) - Lunch. Participants will be provided a set menu meal.

30(min) - Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of some 40,000 inari-jinja shrines located all over Japan. The bright red Senbon Torii gates are a must-see attraction.

30(min) - Sanjusangen-do Temple. Visit the world's longest wooden structure, housing 1,001 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century.

70(min) - Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The view of Kyoto from the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu-dera is superb. The historic shopping lane that leads to the temple adds to a wonderful experience.

6:30 -7:30pm - Drop-off Service From Kiyomizu-dera Temple, participants will be dropped off at Kyoto Station, then to hotels. Stay at Hotel in Kyoto City

Dy 6 Kyoto - Tokyo
5:25-6:10pm - Depart from Hotel to Kyoto Station. An English-speaking assistant will meet participants at the hotel at departure time for shuttle service to the station.

5:45 -7:00pm 140(min) From Kyoto Station to Tokyo Station. An assistant will guide participants to the station platform, but will not board the Shinkansen.

8:30 -9:30pm Tokyo Station Tour ends after arriving at Tokyo Station.
