ITINERARY & PRICES

Day 1 Tokyo - Mt Fuji - Hakone
08:15-08:25 Departure from pick up point on the 3rd Floor of Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo's Main Tower in Shinjuku Please be at the meeting location at least 10 minutes before departure. The tour may stop by at GINZA SIX to pick up customers.
30(min) Mt. Fuji 5th Station The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds.
50(min) Lunch Enjoy Japanese-style cuisine.
15(min) Lake Ashi Cruise At Lake Ashi in Hakone, customers can ride a cruise ship. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji.
50(min) Hakone Komagatake Ropeway Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi spread out below.
Hakone-en: Depending on traffic congestion on the day and any itinerary order change, the tour may disembark at Moto-Hakone Port.
17:00-18:00 Arrival & Check-in at Hotel in Hakone Area Go to the hotel on foot, via bus, or via taxi. Yumoto Fujiya Hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Hakone - Nara - Kyoto
07:50-09:30 Depart from Hotel in Hakone Area to Odawara Station Go to Odawara Station by taxi or bus
15(min) From Odawara Station to Shin-Yokohama Station Take a non-reserved Kodama or Hikari Shinkansen. Note that seating is not guaranteed if the train is crowded.
120(min) From Shin-Yokohama Station to Kyoto Station Take a Nozomi Shinkansen to Kyoto.
Lunch (Western-style menu) Enjoy lunch at a hotel.
-13:20 Depart from Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo Walk to Sunrise Tours Desk in Avanti.
13:30- Avanti's Sunrise Tours Desk (across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit) - Depart
60(min) Todai-ji Temple (Great Buddha) Nara Park A World Heritage site. This is the symbol of the Nara Period and one of the world's largest wooden structures. Its huge main hall and bronze Great Buddha are impressive to behold.
40(min) Kasuga Taisha Shrine This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers.
20(min) Nara Nagomikan (Gift Shop) The largest souvenir shop in Nara. Enjoy yourself in this spacious shop and look for the perfect souvenir.
18:30-19:30 Drop-off Service From Kyoto Station, participants will be dropped off at their hotels. Overnight at Kyoto Tokyu Hotel.

Day 3 Kyoto
07:50-08:30am Reporting at Tours Desk (across from Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit) - Depart
50(min) Nijo Castle - A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for the Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see.
45(min) Kinkaku-ji Temple A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.
40(min) [Regular] Kyoto Imperial Palace See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago.
40(min) [Kyoto Imperial Palace Closed Days] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine Kitano Tenmangu Shrine is the substitute for Kyoto Imperial Palace on days it is closed to visitors. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.
60(min) Lunch Participants will be provided a set menu meal.
30(min) Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of some 40,000 inari-jinja shrines located all over Japan. The bright red Senbon Torii gates are a must-see attraction.
30(min) Sanjusangen-do Temple Visit the world's longest wooden structure, housing 1,001 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century.
70(min) Kiyomizu-dera Temple The view of Kyoto from the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu-dera is superb. The historic shopping lane that leads to the temple adds to a wonderful experience.
17:30-18:30 Drop-off Service Tour ends after arriving at hotel in Kyoto City. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Kyoto - Tokyo by train
5:00 - 6:10pm Depart from Hotel to Kyoto Station An English-speaking assistant will meet participants at the hotel at departure time for shuttle service to the station. *Customers at some hotels are to transfer on foot.

5:45-7:00pm 140(min) From Kyoto Station to Tokyo Station
An assistant will guide participants to the station platform, but will not board the Shinkansen.
8:30 -9:30pm Tokyo Station Tour ends after arriving at Tokyo Station.
