DAY 1 ROME – NAPLES
Meet the Destination Italia assistant in Termini Station (about 8:00 a.m.– OPTIONAL private transfer could be provided from hotels in Rome from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m) and take the high speed train to Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, direct transfer to the Hotel. Day at disposal to explore the city and taste the excellence of local food such as pizza. Overnight stay in Naples at HOTELS PALAZZO SALGAR or similar.

DAY 2 NAPLES
Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning reach Piazza del Gesù Nuovo to start a guided walking tour to admire Church of Gesù Nuovo and the Monastery of Santa Chiara. Next, visit Pignasecca, a colorful local market buzzing with food and clothing shops. Take in the sights and smells of the market and try some typical Neopolitan street food along the way. Enter the bustling Quartieri Spagnoli (Spanish Quarter), the most densely populated and characteristic part of the city. Look up the hill at its grid of alleys and stairs and take in the street art and hanging linins decorating the balconies. Finish in the monumental area of Naples and admire the elegant Caffè Gambrinus, the San Carlo Theatre, the Galleria Umberto, and the Piazza Plebiscito framed in the background by the Royal Palace. Afternoon at leisure with possibility to enjoy optional tours. Overnight stay in Naples

DAY 3 NAPLES – POMPEII – SORRENTO
Breakfast in the hotel, check out and pick up about 10:00 a.m. Proceed to Pompeii for the private guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. At the end of the visit transfer to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town centre and characteristic fisherman’s village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city. A local assistant welcomes you at hotel during the check–in and gives you all the informations for Capri excursion and the following transfer and activities. Overnight stay at GRAND HOTEL VESUVIO or HOTEL MICHELANGELO or similar.

DAY 4 SORRENTO – CAPRI – SORRENTO
Breakfast in the hotel and departure for the port, according to the details provided. Sail to Capri by traditional Gozzo Sorrentino. Enjoy a boat trip around the island and the possibility to swim into its crystal–clear waters or visit the Blue Grotto (optional entrance, weather permitting). Once landed on the island, you will continue by minibus to discover it and reach the legendary Piazzetta, heart of the island. Enjoy some free time to explore Capri at your own pace. Return to the port to head back to Sorrento and overnight stay.

DAY 5 SORRENTO – NAPLES – ROME
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning at leisure in Sorrento. Direct transfer from Sorrento to Naples at around 3:30 p.m. where local assistant in Naples train station will help you to board the high speed train going to Rome. Arrival at Termini Station scheduled for around 7:00 p.m.
