Peru and its fantastic landscapes await you. But what do we need to enjoy a beautiful experience? On the one hand, we need something to admire. On the other hand, we need a clear vision. Welcome to the Andean Cosmovision workshop, an online space where we prepare ourselves before traveling to the magical lands of Peru. Through mindful breathing and meditation, we will deepen our understanding of how to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Get ready to begin your journey into your inner world.

Day 1: Arrive Lima
Upon arrival, you will be assisted at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

Day 2: Lima

Start your day on the perfect note with an anti-jetlag yoga session to revitalize your body and get you energized for your first day exploring the destination. You will be guided by an expert yoga instructor on this all-level yoga session to kick off your wellness journey. *Depending on the size of the group and the selected hotel, this activity may take place within the property or have to be relocated to a yoga studio. Please, reconfirm options at booking. Yoga mats can also be included by request, with a surcharge of $3 per passenger.
We will return to the hotel to enjoy our delicious breakfast.

AM -Half day -City tour: Tour of Colonial and Modern Lima / Visit to the Larco Museum (4 hours approx.)
You will visit the modern and colonial parts of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, and passing along a “huaca” or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. There, you will walk along some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have some time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. You will also have the chance to take a peek into an iconic building, that has served Lima’s citizens for centuries and continues to be an important landmark. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. After exploring the Historical Center, you will head towards the Larco Museum, which houses the incomparable Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection. Afternoon at leisure.PM Optional Activity –Tour Barranco on foot (Extra Cost). You will explore the creative center of Lima, visit artisan shops and enjoy the best street art in the city, along with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the Bay of Lima. Among the beautiful historic architecture, you will learn about the history of this ancient seaside resort, full of beautiful streets, old houses and small squares, as well as lively cafes and restaurants. Stroll along the boardwalk and the famous "Puente de los Suspiros", visit the Barranco Plaza de Armas and hidden corners that only locals know. For a complete urban art immersion, you will also visit the trendy Jade Rivera Museum, to learn about the story and artistic evolution of this renown Peruvian street artist, who’s murals adorn many streets of the neighborhoods. You will also be able to browse one of the best Peruvian arts and crafts shops in the area. To seal the best Barranco experience, you will enjoy a coffee or a small gift along the route in one of the many local cafes frequented by locals.

Day 3: Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight.

Flight LIM/CUZ not included. Suggested times: 8/9am departure.

Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be assisted at the airport and transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

TRANSFER TO THE SACRED VALLEY WITH LUNCH AT HACIENDA SARAPAMPA

Enjoy a scenic trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, towards the Taray area, near Pisac. There, you will head to the Sarapampa Estate, for the true hacienda experience. Tour around the Hacienda Sarapampa by the hand of the Sumar Salas family and discover the agricultural legacy of the inter-Andean valleys and the secrets of growing of the famous giant white corn of Cusco. For three generations in the Sacred Valley, the owners have preserved the traditions associated with corn farming and hacienda lifestyle. Get delighted with the architecture of the state, its stories, its crops and let yourself be impressed by the strong link with the land that has remained almost intact for centuries. The finishing touch will be the exquisite local dishes. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your hotel, to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own pace.

PM -Andean Meditation

Therapeutic session and meditation guided by a music therapist facilitator using vibrational sounds, executing ancestral Andean instruments of healing, and inducing deep meditation, harmonization and connection with the three Andean Worlds (HANAN PACHA-the upper world, KAI PACHA-the world from here and UQU PACHA-the world below).

Day 4: Sacred Valley

Experience -Full day -Andean Forests with lunch (Pachamanca) and visit to the nursery

In this program, designed both to be an experience and to support a truly important reforestation and conservation project, you will visit an Andean Forest conservation area, learn about local ecosystems and their importance, and understand their particularities and processes. We will also enjoy a tour of the forest nursery to learn about preparing strong and healthy plants.

We start the day early with a visit to Pumamarka, about an hour from Ollantaytambo, where we will visit the Pumamarka Ruins, which are believed to have been part of the Wari/Inca empires and are in one of the least visited areas of the Sacred Valley. From there we will visit the Choquechaka Conservation Area to learn about the Andean Forests and their ecosystems. After exploring these sites and learning about their significance, we will enjoy a traditional Pachamanca lunch at Finca El Albergue's restaurant. On our tour of the farm and nursery, our hosts will share their knowledge about sustainability, reforestation, and local production in the Andean world, and more specifically about Valle Sagrado Verde's plans to restore the natural environment of Ollantaytambo and the Sacred Valley. We end the tour with a visit to El Albergue's coffee roaster and distillery before returning to your hotel in the Sacred Valley (coffee roasting and distillery experiences available at additional cost: see below).

Optional Activity –Visit to the Town and Fortress of Ollantaytambo @ $242.00 per person

In the Sacred Valley towards the town of Ollantaytambo, is the imposing Inca fortress that bears the same name. This place is of great historical importance, as it is where Manco Inca defeated the Spanish forces in 1538. You will climb the steep stone steps, from where you can admire the amazing monoliths that form the Temple of the Sun. At the end, you will return to your hotel in the Sacred Valley. Meals included: breakfast, lunch.

Day 5: Sacred Valley

2 Days 1 Night in the Andean Community of Mullakas Misminay
Visit the Misminay community, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Upon arrival, the townspeople will give you a warm welcome with typical music and dances. You will explore local gastronomy through a wonderful cooking class, beginning your experience with the planting and harvesting of some products, according to the season. Then, next to your hosts, you will prepare a delicious traditional dish using only local products, which you will enjoy for lunch. In the afternoon, your hosts will guide you with music and chants towards the Moray viewpoint, where you will have a privileged view of this important Inca agricultural center and the Sacred Valley. At night, your hosts will accompany you next to a bonfire where they will share local stories while you appreciate the beautiful and starry Cusco sky. Afterwards, share with them a delicious Andean dinner before spending the night at a local home. Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overnight at selected hotel in Misminay Community

Day 6: Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cuzco

Enjoy a traditional breakfast before joining the townspeople for a farewell ceremony, where they will express their gratitude for your visit.

Transfer to the train station to start your trip to Machu Picchu.

Experience -Full day -Machu Picchu by Vistadome train with lunch

A visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see every part of one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World, relax and take some impressive photos. Late afternoon you will return to Cusco. Box Lunch is included.

At the scheduled time, you will travel by train to the Ollantaytambo station, where our vehicle awaits you to take you to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 7: Cuzco
Morning Yoga or Meditation session at the hotel.
Before breakfast, we will enjoy a guided Morning Yoga session at our hotel. Breakfast at the hotel.

AM Half Day-Walking tour through the streets of Cuzco
Take a tour of Cuzco, the imposing Imperial City, example of the harmonious coexistence between the Andean and Spanish cultures. You will start with a visit to the Main Plaza, where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city. Then, you will continue by foot until you reach the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, on which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day.

Your tour will finish with a visit to the bohemian neighborhood of San Blas, also known as “the artists' district”, cradle of well-known folk artisans, with its narrow and winding streets and its popular art and knick-knacks shops. We will go to the San Pedro market where they will be waiting for us to start the next tour.

PM -Half Day -Cooking Workshop with Super Foods and Visit to the Market (3.5 hours approx.)
Peruvian cuisine is recognized as one of the tastiest in the world. In 2019, Peru was named the World's Best Culinary Destination for the eighth consecutive years at the World Travel Awards. Thanks to an outstanding geographical and ecosystem diversity, Peru features an incredible pantry, made up of local and native products, many of which are recognized as superfoods. Our tour is a culinary experience with a unique vision of the food and culture of our country with the correct use of regional products such as quinoa, yellow pepper, and trout. With our haute cuisine chef, we will prepare gourmet fusion dishes and enjoy them with the most spectacular views that our city offers us. The activity will begin at 12:00 am in the San Pedro Market, which we will visit for approximately 30 minutes, then we will go to our terrace where we will begin the cooking class. The cooking class consists of the preparation of an appetizer, a main course and a dessert. We will also prepare a traditional drink (pisco sour).

Optional Visit -Visit to the Cuzco Planetarium @ $96.00 per person
You will live a unique experience at the Cuzco Planetarium, located 15min from the city center, where you will learn about the important relationship of the Andean people with the cosmos. You will enjoy a special projection of starry skies and drawn constellations inside the dome, allowing you to feel closer to the marvels of the universe. Finally, you will go outside, where, depending on weather conditions, you will get to witness the oldest spectacle in the world, observing stars and constellations through professional telescopes and astronomic observation equipment, guided by an expert astronomer.

Day 8: Cuzco - Lima / Depart Lima

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to board the departure flight.

Train to Machu Picchu
Remember that we require complete passenger information (full name, type and number of documents, nationality, and date of birth) at least 30 days prior to the date of the trip in order to guarantee seating on the chosen train. This is the only way of assuring you have the proper seats.
