Day 1: Arrive Lima
Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival, you will be assisted at the airport and transferred to your selected hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Day 2: Lima - Cuzco flight

Day 3: Cuzco
Breakfast. AFTERNOON HALF DAY CITY TOUR AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES NEAR CUZCO (ON SHARED BASIS)
You will visit the city of Cuzco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Continue to Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Q’enqo archaeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place.  Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city. We will close the tour with a visit to the San Blas neighborhood, famous for its artisans. Overnight in Cuzco.

Day 4: Cuzco - Sacred Valley - Cuzco
Breakfast. FULL DAY - LIVING THE AUTHENTIC SACRED VALLEY (ON SHARED BASIS)
Visit Chinchero, a small picturesque Andean village. Enter the home of a textile artisan, where you will see some of his original work and learn about his techniques, as well as his creative process. Then visit its important Inca ruins dating back to the end of the 15th century, as well as you can observe in a panoramic way its beautiful and traditional church. Afterwards, on the road to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at a viewpoint, for one of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then it is on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative building complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors' rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress and also a religious center. Overnight in Cuzco.

Day 5: Cuzco - Machu Picchu - Cuzco by train
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from your Cuzco hotel to the Ollantaytambo train station.
FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU TOUR WITH SHARED LOCAL GUIDE – EXPEDITION TRAIN
A visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos. Finally, you return to Aguas Calientes, board the train for the return journey and transfer to your hotel. At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from the Ollantaytambo station to your Cuzco hotel. Overnight in Cuzco.

Day 6: Cuzco
Breakfast. Spend your day at leisure exploring around Cuzco and it’s surrounding at your own pace. Overnight in Cuzco.

Optional: FULL DAY RAINBOW MOUNTAIN (SHARED BASIS) $ 65.00 PER PERSON
Around 5:30am you will be transferred from your hotel in Cusco at dawn towards South Valley, driving for 3 hours until reaching Cusipata and take the road to  town Phulawasipata (4,626 MASL /15,177 ft.). Arriving to this community  you will take a  break to prepair and the start  the trek skirting the route of a beautiful stream. In the ascent, you will start to enjoy beautiful landscapes and see flocks of Andean camelids as llamas and alpacas. The highest Mountain in the region, “Apu Ausangate”, will show its majesty and you will be amazed by the mystique of the place making you feel the all the magic and energy, also, you have the opportunity to interact with the community members to learn more about their daily life. After approximately 1 and a half hours, you will arrive to the main attraction of this experience: Vinicunca, the Rainbow Mountain (5,020 MASL / 16466 ft.) you will have enough time to explore the area, take photos and renew your energy that will help you start your way back (The time in the mountaintop will be 30 minutes)

After the visit to the mountain of Colors we prepare to continue the trek, for the return. The walk back will take between 1 hour until reaching the Phulawasipata community from here you will be transferred back to Cusipata for the lunch in a local restaurant, after lunch continue to Cusco. (Sometime this switch for box lunch). Arriving around 5pm.

Day 7: Depart Cuzco

Train to Machu Picchu
Remember that Condor Travel needs complete passenger information (full name, type and number of document, nationality, and date of birth) at least 30 days prior to the date of the trip in order to guarantee seating on the chosen train. This is the only way of assuring you have the proper seats.
