Day 1 Munich
Upon arrival in Munich, optional private transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Munich
Today you will explore the city with a regular tour, using the Hop on/Hop off tourist bus. You can disembark at any stop and take your time to get to know the city. Highlights include the Marienplatz square, the City Hall, the famous Church of our Lady and the Viktualienmarkt street market. Explore the traditional Christmas market of Munich, located around the Marienplatz.

Day 3 Munich - Nuremberg - Munich
In the morning you travel by train to Nuremberg. Free time to visit the old town and browse the most famous Christmas market in Germany: the “Christkindlesmarkt”. This almost 400- year old market attracts more than two million visitors a year. Afternoon return to Munich by train.

Day 4 Munich

Berlin and Dresden

Day 1 Berlin
Upon arrival in Berlin, optional private transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Berlin
Take the time and discover the city at your own pace with a regular city tour (Hop on/Hop off bus). Your ticket is valid for 24 hours. Visit Berlin’s famous sights such as the Kurfürstendamm, the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdam square. During the Advent period, Berlin is bathed in colorful festive lights. The grand boulevards and squares, as well as the small side streets and museums, are beautifully decorated and radiate the holiday spirit. The Gendarmenmarkt, one of the most beautiful squares in the city, provides a charming setting for the traditional Christmas market.

Day 3 Berlin - Dresden - Berlin
In the morning, you travel by train to Dresden. The capital of the Federal State of Saxony is famous for its many baroque buildings and churches along the banks of the Elbe river. Explore the highlights of this stunning baroque city on a regular Hop on/Hop off city tour and visit the famous Christmas market „Striezelmarkt“, one of the oldest and largest Christmas markets in Germany. The market is named after a traditional Dresden Christmas cake, known as ‚Strietzel‘. Afternoon return to Berlin by train.

Frankfurt and Würzburg

Day 1 Arrive Frankfurt

Day 2 Frankfurt
Explore the city of Frankfurt on a regular city tour. Hop on and hop off at the stops of your choice and take your time getting around the city. You are going to visit the Paul church, the financial center, its skyscrapers, the neighborhood of Römerberg square and the wonderful city views from the Hauptwache. Take time to visit the beautiful Christmas market in Frankfurt. More than 200 Christmas stalls await you in Römerberg, on Paulsplatz square and at the pier by the Main river.

Day 3 Frankfurt - Wurzburg - Frankfurt
In the morning, you travel by train to Würzburg. At Christmas time, many corners and squares in Würzburg are transformed into an atmospheric winter wonderland. Delight in an atmospheric scenery and around 100 Christmas stalls with tasteful offerings ranging from handicrafts to Franconian winter delights that make the Christmas market in Würzburg something special. Stuttgart, Heidelberg and Baden-Baden

Day 2 Stuttgart - Heidelberg - Stuttgart
Take advantage of the time and discover the city and its Christmas market at your own pace. 300 bright and lovingly decorated stalls, the smell of punch and fresh pastries: All this makes Stuttgart‘s Christmas market one of the most beautiful and largest markets in Europe. Then travel by train to Heidelberg, a beautiful city with great medieval influence in its buildings. In its Christmas Market there are around 140 stalls, which sell lovely gift ideas. If you are looking for a sports activity or want to do a few laps on ice skates in front of the castle‘s romantic setting, you can go to Karlsplatz. One of the most beautiful ice rinks in Germany. In the afternoon return to Stuttgart by train.

Day 3 Stuttgart - Baden-Baden - Stuttgart
In the morning train trip to Baden-Baden. This spa town features delightful gardens, large villas and important cultural attractions. Discover Roman ruins and visit Friedrichsbad, one of the oldest thermal spas. Admire the architecture of the famous Casino, one of the most elegant casinos in Europe. Visit the old train station, which has been transformed into a theater and hosts numerous festivals. Surrounded by the mountains of the Black Forest, the traditional Christkindelsmarkt Baden-Baden with its many attractions will catch you in a very special winter fairy tale. The aroma of mulled wine and gingerbread will guide you on your walk through more than 100 carefully decorated stalls at the beginning of the famous Lichtentaler Allee Park. In the afternoon return to Stuttgart by train.

Day 4 Stuttgart
If there is enough time, you can optionally visit the Christmas market in Esslingen, renown for offering a very special medieval atmosphere. Optional private transfer to the airport.

Black Forest and Strasbourg

Day 1 Basel - Freiburg
Arrival at Basel airport and train trip to Freiburg (approx. 1h).

Day 2 Freiburg
Today you have all day to know the city of Freiburg with its cathedral and the “Most beautiful tower of Christianity”. Freiburg, the capital of the Black Forest is a university city with a lot of ambiance. In December its streets shine with a large number of stands of what is to be the largest Christmas market in the South of the Black Forest. Highlights the number of bands playing Christmas carols in the streets creating an authentic Christmas atmosphere.

Day 3 Freiburg - Strasbourg - Freiburg
In the morning travel by train to Strasbourg, capital of the Alsace Region in France. With its extraordinary cathedral, carved like a work of lace, Strasbourg is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Its Christmas market is the oldest in France, which since 1570 is held in the Cathedral square. Hundreds of merchants offer visitors original gifts and objects to decorate their Christmas tree and nativity scene, as well as different culinary specialties such as typical sweets, mulled wine, cakes and many more. Return by train to Freiburg.

Day 4 Freiburg - Basel

Zurich, Lucerne and Lake Constance

Day 1 Zurich

Day 2 Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Each year, around 150 market houses invite you to enjoy the beautiful pre-Christmas period in one of the largest covered Christmas markets in Europe. In the heart of Zurich, with direct access to trains, buses and trams, and in the immediate vicinity of the famous Bahnhofstrasse, lies the Christkindlimarkt of Zurich. Then travel by train to Lucerne. Set against the backdrop of Mount Rigi and Mount Pilatus, Lucerne is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Switzerland. The old city features some of the oldest covered bridges in Europe, charming cobblestone streets, baroque churches and historic buildings decorated with lovely frescoes. In the heart of the medieval old town, around the Franciscan church, there is a contemplative atmosphere of Advent. In the afternoon, return to Zurich by train.

Day 3 Zurich - Constance - Zurich
In the morning travel by train to Constance in Germany. The city is located on the shores of Lake Constance, the largest lake in Germany. The Christmas Market of Constance extends from the historic center of the city to the port. At the same time, this is the most popular Christmas market on Lake Constance, which attracts more than 450,000 visitors each year. The special here is the „Christmas Boat“, which can be found on the pier. In the afternoon return to Zurich by train.
