Day 1: Arrive La Paz
(Airport, bus station or hotel). 7 hours city tour of La Paz, this marvellous city is located in a valley at the foothills of the Andes Range, situated at 3,632m / 11942 ft. above sea level. The tour goes through Gold, Murillo and Costumbrista museums also visit to the viewpoint "Mirador de Killi Killi", from where there is a magnificent view over La Paz. There will also be a visit to various street markets including a traditional market where traditional agricultural products from the highlands, such as quinoa, tunta, chuño (dehydrated potato) and oca (sweet tuber) are sold; the Witch Market, where locals buy supplies for ritual ceremonies like the Ch'alla and also offerings to the Pachamama (Mother Earth). Ride by cable car “Teleférico”, it’s a good choice to discover an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz. The tour passes through the modern, affluent residential area of the city before concluding in the Valley of the Moon, where a clay mountain has been impressively shaped by erosion. Day 2: La Paz - Uyuni (flight - not included)
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Uyuni (plane tickets are not included). At 10:00, departure to the train cemetery where you can see the remains of 19th and 20th century steam locomotives, from this time we head to the Great Salt Flat, visiting the village of Colchani along the way, where we will spend time in the artisan market and visit a local salt processing plant. We get into the salt flat, passing through the waterholes, in addition to observing the way salt is extracted in blocks and piles. We will also visit the well-known Flags Monument in the middle of the salt flat and the Giant Salt Sculptures. We continue to Incahuasi Island (also known as Fish Island) where you can see giant cactus up to 10 meters high. Apthapi lunch (an Andean traditional way of sharing meals) will be served in the middle of the Salt Flat. After having time to enjoy the magic and energy of the salt flat and playing with perspective photos we will drive south to watch the sunset at the shore with a glass of wine, chips and nuts. Day 3: Depart Uyuni - La Paz/ Depart La Paz
